Boarding Fees
£4.50 per day per animal with discounts
for up to two animals sharing.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT
ALL RABBITS REQUIRE THE MYXIMATOSIS VACCINATION
- PLEASE ASK YOUR VETERINARY SURGEON FOR A VACCINATION
CERTIFICATE WHICH YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SHOW ON
YOUR RABBIT'S FIRST VISIT TO US AS WE CANNOT ACCEPT
THEM WITHOUT IT. Once we have seen the
certificate we will only require seeing it again
on your rabbit's first visit after each booster,
as we will keep a note of when the booster is
due. This is a very necessary requirement as the
wild rabbit population is very high with us. Our
veterinary surgeon strongly suggests we have our
pet rabbits vaccinated every six months because
of this.
- There are no vaccination requirements necessary for Guinea Pigs,
Ferrets & Parrots.
- A deposit is now required of £25-00, which is non refundable, but will be deducted off the final amount when the account is settled.
- Whilst every possible attention is given to each pet boarded
with us, it is done so entirely at the owners risk, as are pets
sharing accommodation. Should we feel the need to separate them
in the interest of the animal's own safety, a relevant charge
for the extra accommodation will be made.
- Every rabbit and/or guinea pig will have designated time spent
with him/her each day where they will be stroked, handled, groomed
(where necessary) and checked over.
- Any current or ongoing problems with a pet's health or temperament
must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the
right to refuse any pet that we consider to be of an unreliable
temperament, or sick at the time of boarding. If your pet is on
any medication during his/her stay with us would you please make
sure you leave us with clear instructions for administration and
also enough medication for your pet's entire stay.
- We have our own veterinary surgeon on-call 24 hours a day.
If in the unlikely event we do need to contact a vet for your
pet and he/she is with a local surgery we will of course contact
them first. If we have to call out a vet for any existing health
condition prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility
of the owner. Should any pet on arrival require treatment for
external parasites i.e. fleas etc. this will be done with immediate
effect and without prior notification to the owner and a charge
to your final bill will be made for this.
- Please could you restrict drop off, collection and viewing
times to within our opening times as we do like to consider our
neighbours and hope you will too.
- Please could you restrict drop off, collection
and viewing times to within our opening times
as we do like to consider our neighbours and hope
you will too. Full payment is expected on collection
of your pet by either cash or cheque (made payable
to FIVEWAYS BOARDING KENNELS & CATTERY). Should
an animal be collected before the booked departure
date, without our prior knowledge the reserved
occupancy fee will still be charged.
- The storage of pet carriers is available.
If an animal is not collected within 14 days of the agreed departure date and all points of contact have failed, we reserve the right to have any animal removed from the premises and legal action will be taken to reimburse boarding fees and monies spent on the relocation of the animal.
