- Group A (£10.00/day):
- Toy - Cocker Spaniel.
- Group B (£10.50/day):
- Beagle - Samoyed.
- Group C (£11.00/day):
- Labrador - Great Dane.
All charges include 2 walks per day for dogs, food & insurance but does not include heating if required.
Please note that the breeds mentioned above are as a guide only.
All mixed breeds will be priced on arrival.
- PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR DOG’S CURRENT VACCINATION CARD
ON THEIR FIRST STAY AS WE REGRETTABLY CANNOT ACCEPT THEM WITHOUT
IT. The inoculations that each dog must be covered for are Distemper,
Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvo Virus. Once
we have seen the certificate we will only require to see it again
on the first stay after the following year’s booster as we will
keep a note of when the booster is due. We do not insist that
your dog has ‘Kennel Cough’ prevention though we do encourage
it and do try our utmost to prevent it entering our kennels.

- A deposit is now required of £25-00, which is non refundable, but will be deducted off the final amount when the account is settled.
- The insurance is not usually covered in your normal household/pet insurance. Our insurance does exclude fees in connection with any condition pre-existing to the visit, in the event of death and cost of cremation.

- Full payment is expected on collection of your pet by either cash or cheque (made payable to FIVEWAYS BOARDING KENNELS & CATTERY). Should an animal be collected before the booked departure date then the reserved occupancy fee will still be charged.
- If it becomes impossible to collect your animal
by the agreed date a telephone call is very important
to us so that arrangements can be made - it could
put us in an embarrassing situation if we need
your unit for someone else who has previously
booked with us - we never intentionally double
book units!!!! If we do find ourselves in the
position that an animal is collected later than
previously arranged without our prior knowledge
the animal must be collected as as possible the
following day. If the unit has already been booked
out to a new visitor on the extra day the animal
supposed to be in that unit will take priority
and other arrangements will be made available
for the late stayer. An additional charge of £5-00
will also be added to the final bill for inconvenience
to us for having to make alternative arrangements.
- Whilst every possible attention is given to each pet boarded
with us, it is done so entirely at the owner’s own risk, as are
pets sharing accommodation. Should we feel the need to separate
them in the interest of the animal’s own safety, a relevant charge
for the extra accommodation will be made.

- Any current or ongoing problems with a pet’s health or temperament
must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the
right to refuse any pet that we consider to be of an unreliable
temperament, or sick at the time of boarding. If your dog is on
any medication during his/her stay with us would you please make
sure you leave us with clear instructions for administration and
also enough medication for your pet’s entire stay.
- We have our own veterinary surgeon on-call 24 hours a day. If
in the unlikely event we do need to contact a vet for your pet
and he/she is with a local surgery we will of course contact them
first. If we have to call out a vet for any existing health condition
prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of
the owner. If your pet is well enough for us to take them to an
appointment at the surgery a charge of £20-00 will be added to
your invoice for our time and petrol money rather than you being
charged a much higher call-out fee from the surgery.
- All pets should have been wormed recently. Should any pet on
arrival require treatment for internal or external parasites (fleas
worms etc.) this will be done without prior consent from the owner
and then a charge will be made for this.
- Please could you restrict drop off, collection and viewing times
to within our opening times as we do like to consider our neighbours
and hope you will too.
- OUR OPENING TIMES ARE NOT FLEXIBLE – the council
gave us these times when we applied for Planning Permission –
we do not want to jeopardise our license and hope that you would
not expect us to.
- Every dog will have two forms of exercise a day whether this
be a walk on the lead or a supervised run off the lead in one
of our enclosed paddocks or a wander around in our large exercise
pen. In all of these situations this is where, if authorised by
yourself, your dog will be able to socialise and make new friends.
- We supply each dog with its own basket but ask that you bring
him/her something from home whether it be bedding or an old blanket
so that they have some familiar comforts around them. Occasionally
during the settling-in process a dog may be destructive, so may
we suggest that an old blanket be put in with his/her normal bedding
a few days before their stay and bring that along instead of running
the risk of spoiling their normal bed. We do of course keep spare
bedding in case it is needed. If you wish you may leave toys etc.
but only on the strict understanding that although every effort
will be made to keep track of these items we can not be held responsible
for any loss or damage.
- Please make sure that your dog has a suitable collar which he/she
will be expected to wear at all times during their stay.
If an animal is not collected within
14 days of the agreed departure date and all points of contact have
failed, we reserve the right to have any animal removed from the
premises and legal action will be taken to reimburse boarding fees
and monies spent on the relocation of the animal.
